Since the last news item there has been no further progress on licensing intellectual property to Annette Walker's Elephant Kiosks Ltd; that website has now been taken down.

28 March 2007
Elephant and Mouse is in the closing stages of licensing its intellectual property to Elephant Kiosks Ltd and is also in discussion with other suppliers. The accesspod already features in the marketing photographs on the Elephant Kiosks website (currently without licence).

To avoid confusion please note that Elephant and Mouse and Elephant Kiosks are separate legal entities.

Prior to any formal licensing agreements, customers are reminded to check the implications of purchasing a kiosk that is based on the Elephant and Mouse Registered Design 3024919. The best place to check the current licensing status is right here and on our news page.

Intellectual Property Issues

26 March 2007
Elephant and Mouse is in discussions regarding the sale and licensing of its intellectual property to third parties; at this point no such agreements have been made.

The Elephant and Mouse intellectual property includes Copyright, Designs, a Patent (pending), and Trademarks. For example, Elephant and Mouse own the Registered Design 3024919 which gives it the "exclusive right to make, use or stock any item incorporating your design - and take action against those who infringe this right."

Customers considering the purchase of a kiosk that infringes Elephant and Mouse Intellectual Property should assess their legal position carefully.

Elephant and Mouse is "entitled to sue infringers for damages whether the infringement is intentional or not."
